1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Sudoku Showdown (“the app”), published by Expresso Codes (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the app or its matchmaking service; cheat, automate, or manipulate match results; abuse, harass, or impersonate other players, including via your chosen display name; or use the app to break any law.

4. Multiplayer & display names

Multiplayer features rely on a service we operate. We may rate-limit, suspend, or remove access to multiplayer to protect the service or other players. Display names you choose must not be offensive or infringing; we may filter or reset names that breach this.

5. Availability

The app and the multiplayer service are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

6. Disclaimer & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We'll revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
